You seem to be preoccupied with the controllers and their potential use in other games, not the game itself. The game itself is a movie trivia game, and should be judged on the merits of being a movie trivia game and not a general knowledge trivia game. In that regard, "Scene It?' hits the mark squarely and is both challenging and engaging. And with the prospect of unlockable achievements, gamerscore points to be earned, and new downloadable content, 'Scene It?' for the X-Box 360 is THE fully realized incarnation of the 'Scene It?' franchise.

The breaks in the action - when each new level is introduced - is a welcome respite when you've got a room full of cut-throat movie mavens vying for the top score. Believe me, I've been there, my wife pulls no punches.

I think your lack of satisfaction with 'Scene It?' is inherent in the fact that you are not a movie buff to the extent that you can actively participate in a trivia game of this genre. Much like if I were to sit down to a game of ESPN Sports Trivia, I would be more or less uninterested in getting through the first round. Now, law trivia, that's your hot ticket.

PS - I love your use of the word "Voluminous".

As a movie-related trivia game, its questions are good- but not voluminous enough to justify its price; its presentation is distinctly of Xbox 1 quality, and jumping from set piece to set piece in between questions takes way too long and slows the momentum down for a "game show" game.

In comparing "Scene It?" to a similarly situated trivia game like "Buzz!," "Scene It?" comes up short in terms of its content to value ratio. Sure, for movie buffs, "Scene It?" is the best of its kind, but it's also the ONLY of its kind. But furthermore, why would I want to limit my trivia to only movies, when I have the ability to get the same type of experience with a wider variety of questions in a more engaging format like "Buzz!"?

What "Scene It?" provides best is the doorway to more engaging "game show-styled" titles that can take advantage of the wireless Big Button Controllers. You can't play "Scene It?" and not look forward to more trivia games for the 360- which both shows the success of "Scene It?" as a genre-establisher, but also it's shortcomings as not being satisfying enough.

Yeah, it's called "Scene It" and it's a MOVIE trivia game. Can you really fault the makers for not including trivia not related to MOVIES? I can't imagine anyone other than movie buffs (the intended demo, no doubt) to be attracted to this game.

The questions are well presented in various locations of a virtual movie studio, including a screening room, editing room, props warehouse, and more. Speaking of questions, the 360 takes note of which questions were asked for each round, and tries not to give too many repeats, which has worked great for this user so far.

For a MOVIE trivia game, it's the best of its kind and deserves two thumbs up, not just two-and-a-half stars.

this was bad, the DS version was 20 x better, and i only liked that version cause it had a kindof utility belt feel when you were trying to select your gear. gaphics were about as good as golden eye and so were the controls. so why was it better? controls, well lit, camera was nicer grabbing up your enemies was easier and all around, id have to say...

...PLEASE STOP MAKING SPLINTER CELL GAMES FOR THE HANDHELDS!

right on Scott. i can see we agree on this one.

That sounds pretty cool. I don't suppose Nintendo will be making this for other systems, like, oh I don't know, PS2 or X-Box?

What happened to the GameGuyShow? I just recently discovered it on iTunes and I LOVE it! Why are there no new episodes? If the show is canceled there could be a notification via iTunes, I haven´t found anything on the website about what´s going on.
